At Oakmoor School we aim to support students in understanding and demonstrating the core values of Ambition, Determination, Excellence, Integrity, Kindness and Respect. Such values enable individuals to become well-rounded individuals as well as supporting them with the essential skills needed to progress into their next stage of learning and the world of work.

We deliver the careers related curriculum via many formats including but not limited to Futures lessons, PSHE sessions, Curriculum delivery, Assemblies, Events and Trips.

Futures lessons (Year 7 and 8 curriculum) :

Each student has 1 futures lesson per fortnight, during these lessons they will explore a vast array of careers, coupled with understanding their post 16 opportunities.
